The Park Avenue Lofts are the only true lofts with quick access to the beaches and marina of Freeport. It is located in the Historic District of Freeport. What makes it unique is the sleepy seaside town atmosphere coupled with the cool coastal winds flowing by while you enjoy either a good book or refreshing beverage on the footsteps of the Bank Building. With the City of Freeport's Memorial Park Plaza fronting the bank building, guests can enjoy the tropical landscaping ambiance and the water pad fountains to cool off during the summer.
Getting around
Public Transportation - the city trolley - runs throughout the day in front of the bank building. Maps of the routes and schedule of the trolley can be found on the City of Freeport Website, (Website hidden by Airbnb)

Summary: Everything about this place was perfectly on point for the price point. We had a great time staying in Freeport and visiting the beaches close by. On complaint is the air conditioning is not up to par for the size of the loft currently. I would expect that they will soon do something about that as it looks as though there have been recent upgrades and some remodeling. I would definitely return to this rental between November and February. But probably not for summer Overall it was a good vacation spot to stay.

Summary: Very cheap price and close to the water which is what we were looking for on a budget for a quick trip to the beach. The place was clean and had everything we needed. Two pieces that we were not impressed with at all were 1. The beds, very hard, uncomfortable, noisy and just really outdated!!! And 2. The WiFi wasn’t working for us- I read reviews before we booked and I saw this was an issue in the past. The host responded back promptly regarding a fix to it but it didn’t work for us still- we left it alone because by then it was bedtime and it wasn’t a big deal. Host was great & responsive; and the place was clean and nice- downside was the awful beds and no WiFi connection.

Summary: Fun clean place. From the moment you walk the place appears fun and cozy. Foosball table and dart board were a hit with my daughter. Only hiccup experience was that website description noted the incorrect check-in time. Please confirm check-in with property contact prior to arriving.

Summary: The first impression from my kids when they saw the beach house was “WOW!!” I knew I’d done good. Our host was very responsive and accommodating. Beach wasn’t far at all. We went out to eat a few times, but mainly used the kitchen. Family Dollar 7 mins away. Dominoes delivers there. I got to visit the little antique store and the owner stated that they were opening a little cafe! In fact, the downtown area will be revitalized very soon with new businesses! And on our last day there my sons enjoyed the water fountain/splash pad outside (in front of the bank building). Doing my laundry was a very welcome and unexpected perk (bring detergent!) There was a meteor shower one of the nights we were there that the host told us about. I really loved our stay and cannot wait to go again! Location was quiet and very chill. I recommend this place as your vacation rental without hesitation.

Summary: My little girl and I had a perfectly safe and quarantined getaway. The beach is so close we got up early and drove to watch the sun come up over the water and went back to bed. We had plenty of beach time, and the loft was the perfect setting for facials and girl movies.
